What is sous vide cooking?
Sous Vide is a technique of cooking food at precisely controlled low temperatures inside a water bath while sealing the ingredients in an airtight bag. This process creates uniquely textured foods that are tender, moist, and unlike anything ever created in conventional kitchens. Does the Anova have a warranty?
Yes. All Anova sous vide immersion circulators have a one-year limited warranty. If used in commercial environments, the warranty does not cover the touch screen LCD

Is cooking sous vide convenient?
When cooking sous vide, you can "set it and forget it." You can also cook delicious meals for an entire week and easily store them in microwavable bags.

Sous vide is not a last minute meal. It does take some time to prepare and cook a sous vide meal.

Are there health benefits to cooking sous vide?
Foods lose many vitamins and minerals during the cooking process. With sous vide, the food is cooked under vacuum and sealed, which locks in vitamins and minerals.

Can you cook vegetarian meals?
Yes. Some of the best sous vide meals are vegetarian. Check back soon, as we will be publishing some of our favorite recipes.

Do I need a vacuum sealer?
No. You don't need a vacuum sealer to cook sous vide, but we do recommend that you get one. For more information on what you need to get started, click here.
When will my order ship?
Orders of 120V systems typically ship in 3-5 business days. 220V systems typically ship in 15 business days.

What countries do you ship to?
We ship worldwide. International purchasers should select the 220V version at checkout.

How much does shipping cost and what shipping options do you offer?
Shipping in the U.S. is $20 via FedEx. Worldwide shipping costs and options vary. International shipping costs do NOT include VAT or duty costs.

Do you offer shipping insurance?
Shipping insurance is included within the shipping charge.
What additional equipment do you need?
You don't need any additional equipment, but we do recommend using a vacuum sealer. For more information on what you need to get started, click here.

What are the steps to cooking sous vide?
  1. Seal ingredients in food-grade plastic bags and remove the surrounding air.
  2. Set the temperature on the Anova device.
  3. Keep the food cooking at the temperature you've specified for a sufficient amount of time.

How big does my pot have to be?
